Meet Chase Kerby
For more than two decades, Chase Kerby has been a steady creative force in Oklahoma music, an indie singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and arts administrator whose raw, emotional songwriting and versatile vocal delivery have made him a familiar and trusted name across the scene.
Kerby’s career has moved through several distinct chapters. He cut his teeth fronting local rock and indie acts like Chasing Paris and The City Lives, and helped shape the ambient rock sound of Defining Times. Over the years he’s shifted fluidly between roles, from frontman to solo artist to dependable sideman, building a body of work that reflects real range rather than a single fixed sound.
As a solo artist, Kerby has released his debut Tidal Friction, the follow-up LINES, and 2026’s Saved Seats, a deeply intimate record that marked a new level of vulnerability in his songwriting. He’s not slowing down: a second full-length is on track for release by fall 2026, with a full band EP to follow in spring 2027.

Rock and roll records made by good friends telling stories with major chords are a primal element of the American tradition. In an era of algorithmically generated pop hits and diminishing attention spans, there is something rare about a band built around chiming guitars, sweet harmonies, dusky vocals, and honest to goodness songwriting. This is the world of Oklahoma’s Beau Jennings & The Tigers.
Led by singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Beau Jennings, The Tigers have spent the better part of a decade developing a sound that sits comfortably between Americana, indie rock, and classic rock ‘n’ roll. At the center of it all are Jennings’ songs, stories about people, places, memory, loss, and home. “These songs are stories,” Jennings says. “They’re usually not about me, but elements of my life are in every song I write.”
That approach traces back to Jennings’ days fronting the band Cheyenne, and carried through an evolving solo career that included the acclaimed The Verdigris, a multimedia album and documentary inspired by Oklahoma icon Will Rogers. It eventually led to the formation of The Tigers, a core group of seasoned Oklahoma musicians, guitarist Chase Kerby, drummer Dustin Ragland, pianist and organist Chris Wiser, and bassist and sound engineer Michael Trepagnier, who handle Jennings’ songs with both precision and instinct.
Over the years, Beau Jennings & The Tigers have amassed a catalog of records that, in the words of NPR, capture what it feels like to be lost in a familiar place. They’ve shared stages with artists including Dwight Yoakam, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Heartless Bastards, and John Moreland.
